Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre

Start your journey at the Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre located on the Corner Cooper Street and Bruce Highway, Ingham.

The Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre is a fully accredited Information Centre and is your one stop shop for travel information, brochures and maps. Staffed by friendly and knowledgeable locals, pop in and let the team help you to experience the stunning Hinchinbrook region. As well as providing tourist information, the Centre also stocks a wide range of souvenirs, postcards and locally sourced products. Enjoy the unique, fun and educational displays promoting the TYTO Wetlands, home to over 240 species of birds. Over the counter bookings for Queensland National Park permits are also available.

Other features of the Centre include native parklands with picnic areas close by, ample parking suitable for coaches and RV’s, public toilets located within the Centre and free Wi-Fi.

Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre hours are:
Monday to Friday – 9.00am – 5.00pm
Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays – 9.00am – 4.00pm
